Buttermilk Fried Calamari

So, I absolutely love Calamari, but I don’t always want to go to a restaurant to enjoy it, and the frozen versions just never quite hit the spot. So I decided to make my own. If you are lucky (for those that are squeamish) you may be able to find some squid that is already cut, but it not throw caution into the wind that try something new, you may just be surprised and what you can do with a little Passion, Patience and Practice

Filleted Fish Sandwich

One of my guilty pleasure is the Filet-O Fish Sandwich. I love when they have the $2.50 sale, lol. It is said that an Ohio franchise operator, Lou Groen, was having difficulty selling the hamburgers on Fridays during Lent. He noticed a nearby restaurant seeming to have great success selling battered fish sandwich's. He contacted the powers that be and presented his new creations and the infamous sandwich was created. Crawfish & Andouille Grilled Cheese

So one of my favorite cousins sent me a recipe for Crawfish boats (don’t worry we will circle back to that) but while I was pulling up to my house the day before our weekly live show I get an alert that the next day was National Grilled Cheese Day (April 12) So me and my daughter decided we needed to Create as Crawfish Grilled Cheese. Since I had already bought most of the ingredients for the soon to be premiered Crawfish Boats, and not being one to waste food, we Created this Simple Meal using the ingredients we had already procured, lol. Tweak the recipe and make it your own, maybe substitute the crawfish for crab, or switch out the cheese…whatever you do, remember there are only 3 rules: You Must Have Passion, You Must Have Patience, and You Must Me Willing to Practice.

Cajun Shrimp and Fried Grits

We did Shrimp and Grits a few months ago, and we had extra sauce, and we repurposed it and put it on a baked potato? Well we still had some more left so we vacuum sealed it and froze it, and now we are doing the remix. After being sent several TikTok videos of fried grits, we have decided to put our twits on it. we are frying savory grits and topping it with the shrimp topping we used for our regular grits.
