The Ingredients & Instructions:
Ingredients
- 6 medium BELL PEPPERS
- ½ stick BUTTER
- ½ lb LUMP CRAB MEAT
- ½ lb peeled and deveined SHRIMP
- ½ lb CRAWFISH TAILS, (optional)
- 2 minced GARLIC CLOVES
- ½ cup chopped ONION
- ½ cup chopped BELL PEPPER
- ½ cup chopped CELERY
- ¼ cup chopped PARSLEY
- 1 tbsp. CAJUN SEASONING
- 1 tsp HOT SAUCE
- ½ tsp SALT
- 1 ½ cups ITALIAN BREADCRUMBS
- 1 ½ cups shredded CHEDDAR CHEESE
Instructions
- Cut the tops off the BELL PEPPERS , remove seeds and wash them
- Par boil BELL PEPPERS in a large pot of salted water for 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, sauté CRAWFISH, SHRIMP, ONIONS, BELL PEPPER, GARLIC, and CELERY in BUTTER for 10 minutes.
- Add CRAB MEAT, PARSLEY, CAJUN SEASONING, SALT, and HOT SAUCE and cook for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and add BREADCRUMBS and 1 cup of CHEESE and mix thoroughly.
- Stuff the BELL PEPPERS with the MIXTURE and top with remaining CHEESE.
- Place the STUFFED PEPPERS in a shallow baking dish, and enough water to cover the bottom the dish.
- Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
