The Ingredients & Instructions:
Ingredients
- 1 lb GROUND BEEF
- 2 tbsp TOMATO PASTE
- ⅔ cup WATER
- 1 tbsp CHILI POWDER
- 2 tsp CUMIN
- ½ tsp ONION POWDER
- ¼ tsp GARLIC POWDER
- ½ tsp OREGANO
- ½ tsp SALT or 1 BEEF BOUILLON
- 1 tsp PEPPER
- 8 CORN TACO SHELLS
- OIL, for frying
Instructions
- Brown GROUND BEEF over medium heat until no pink remains. Drain any fat.
- Add SEASONING MIXTURE, WATER and TOMATO PASTE. Bring to a simmer and let simmer 5 minutes or until thickened, set aside and prepare your SHELLS
- In a frying pan preheat OIL and lightly fry CORN TACO SHELLS on both side, place on a plate lined with paper towels and continue with remaining SHELLS.
- Fill TACO SHELLS with MEAT and desired toppings.
