The Ingredients & Instructions:
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp OLIVE OIL
- 1lb GROUND BEEF
- 1 TBSP CHILI POWDER
- ½ TBSP CUMIN
- ½ TSP ONION POWDER
- ¼ TSP GARLIC POWDER
- ½ TSP OREGANO
- ½ TSP SALT OR BEEF BOUILLON
- 1 TSP BLACK PEPPER
- 2 TBSP TOMATO PASTE
- 1 10 oz can MILD DICED TOMATOES & GREEN CHILIES
- 8 oz BOW TIE PASTA
- 3 cups WATER
- 1/2 cup shredded CHEDDAR CHEESE
- 1/2 cup shredded MOZZARELLA CHEESE
Instructions
- Heat OLIVE OIL in a large stockpot or Dutch and brown the GROUND BEEF making sure to crumble the BEEF as it cooks; Drain off the excess fat.
- stir in CHILI POWDER, CUMIN, ONION POWDER, OREGANO, BLACK PEPPER, and SALT or BEEF BOUILLON.
- Stir in CANNED TOMATOES and GREEN CHILIES, TOMATO PASTE, SPAGHETTI and WATER.
- Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat and simmer until PASTA is cooked through
- Remove from heat and top with CHEESES and cover until the CHEESE is melted.
- Serve immediately, garnished with tomato and cilantro, if desired.
