The Ingredients & Instructions:
Ingredients
- 1 lb CATFISH FILLETS (cubed)
- 1 tbsp. YELLOW MUSTARD
- 2 to 3 tablespoons GREEN ONION
- 1 small RED ONION (Diced)
- 1 ½ tsp CREOLE SEASONING or OLD BAY
- 1 tsp GARLIC POWDER
- 1 tbsp WORCESTERSHIRE (Optional)
- 1 tsp HOT SAUCE (Optional)
- 2 large EGGS
- 1/3 to 1/2 cup PANKO
- VEGETABLE OIL for frying.
- 4 HAMBURGER BUNS
Instructions
- Pulse FISH and MUSTARD in a food processor until chunky.
- Spoon into a large bowl.
- Mix in the OLD BAY or CREOLE SEASONING, GARLIC POWDER, RED, and GREEN ONIONS.
- In a small bowl, lightly beat EGGS with the WORCESTERSHIRE and HOT SAUCE
- Add the the EGG MIXTURE to the FISH, mix thoroughly and fold in the PANKO BREAD CRUMBS
- Form into patties and roll in more PANKO BREAD CRUMBS
- Deep Fry 3 minutes, or Pan Fry PATTIES in VEGETABLE OIL about 2-3 minute per side.
- Place PATTIES on HAMBURGER BUNS and dress as desired
