The Ingredients & Instructions:
Ingredients
- ¼ cup BUTTER
- ¼ cup FLOUR
- 4 ½ cups HEAVY CREAM, or HALF & HALF
- 1lbs LARGE ELBOW NOODLES
- 2 tbs. ONION POWDER
- 2 tbs. GARLIC POWDER
- 2lbs grated SHARP CHEEDAR
- 8 oz grated MILD CHEEDAR CHEESE
- SALT to taste
- PANCKO BREADCRUMBS (OPTIONAL)
Instructions
- Boil LARGE ELBOW NOODLES and ONION POWDER with 2 tbs of SALT according to package instruction, let cool and continue.
- Melt BUTTER over medium heat in a pan and mix in FLOUR to make a roux
- Add in HEAVY CREAM, or HALF & HALF, and bring to a low boil, mix until well incorporated
- Mix in and melt SHARP CHEEDAR and MILD CHEEDAR CHEESE
- Adjust seasoning to taste and fold in LARGE ELBOW NOODLES
- If using PANCKO BREADCRUMBS, pour into an oven safe casserole dish, top with PANCKO BREADCRUMBS and broil till brown
