Creamy Skillet Chicken

The Ingredients & Instructions:
Ingredients
- 2 ½ liters WATER
- ½ cup KOSHER SALT
- ½ cup BROWN SUGAR
- ½ cup GRANULATED GARLIC POWDER
- 1 4lb CHICKEN, cut into 8 pieces
- 2 cups ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
- 1 tsp. GRANULATED GARLIC POWDER
- 1 tsp. PAPRIKA
- 1 tsp. KOSHER SALT
- OIL, for frying
Instructions
- In a large pot dissolve the KOSHER SALT, BROWN SUGAR, and GRANULATED GARLIC POWDER in the WATER
- Submerge the CHICKEN, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours
- Remove the CHICKEN and pat dry.
- In a large bag add the ALL PURPOSE FLOUR, and 1 tsp. each of GRANULATED GARLIC POWDER, PAPRIKA,, and KOSHER SALT. Shake well to combine.
- Add the CHICKEN PIECES a few at a time to the bag and shake well to coat.
- In a large heavy bottom pot or deep fryer, heat the OILto 325°
- Add the CHICKEN PIECES a few at a time to the bag and shake well AGAIN!!!
- Without overcrowding the pot or deep fryer, add the CHICKEN and fry for ~10 minutes or until an internal temperature reaches 165°
- Rest the CHICKEN on a cooling rack or paper towels for 5 minutes
