Seafood Gumbo

The Ingredients & Instructions:
Ingredients
- 2 cups ALMOND FLOUR
- 1 EGG
- 2 oz melted BUTTER
- ⅛ tsp. KOSHER SALT
- ⅛ tsp BLACK PEPPER
- ½ cup diced HAM
- ½ cup diced ONION
- ½ cup diced MUSHROOM
- 5 oz grated SWISS CHEESE
- 3 EGGS
- 1½ cups HALF & HALF
- 1 tsp. DIJON MUSTARD
- ¼ tsp. KOSHER SALT
- ¼ tsp. BLACK PEPPER
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 340°.
- Mix together the ALMOND FLOUR, SALT, PEPPER, MELTED BUTTER , and EGG.
- Press the mixture into the base of your 10-inch Quiche Dish and spread evenly.
- Bake the CRUST for 12 minutes. If the CRUST begins to rise from air bubbles, gently prick it with a fork and press the CRUST back down. Remove it from the oven and set aside.
- Sauté the diced HAM, ONION, and MUSHROOM over medium heat until the ONION is translucent, and most of the moisture from the MUSHROOM have evaporated.
- Spread the HAM, ONION, and MUSHROOM mixture evenly over the CRUST and top with the grated SWISS CHEESE.
- In a large bowl place the EGGS, HALF & HALF, MUSTARD, SALT, and PEPPER blend together until well combined.
- Gently pour the CREAM MIXTURE over the HAM, ONION, MUSHROOM and SWISS CHEESE.
- Place the QUICHE in the oven and bake for 25 to 35 minutes or until the center no longer jiggles.
- Remove from the oven, let cool and cut into 10 pieces.
