The Ingredients & Instructions:
Ingredients
- ½ cup softened BUTTER
- 1 cup SPLENDA
- 2 EGGS
- 2 tsp. VANILLA EXTRACT
- ¾ cup ALMOND FLOUR
- ¼ cup UNSWEETENED COCOA POWDER
- 1 tsp. BAKING POWDER
- ⅛ tsp. SALT
- ¼ cup LOW CARB CHOCOLATE CHIPS
- 4 oz CREAM CHEESE
- ¼ cup BUTTER
- ¼ cup SPLENDA
- ½ tsp. VANILLA EXTRACT
- 2 tbsp. UNSWEETENED COCOA POWDER
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350° and line an 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper and set aside
- In a large bowl, cream the BUTTER and SPLENDA. Mix in the EGGS and VANILLA. Add the ALMOND FLOUR, COCOA POWDER, BAKING POWDER and SALT.
- Fold in CHOCOLATE CHIPS and scrape BATTER into prepared 8x8 baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean and allow to cool for 30 minutes.
- Combine CREAM CHEESE, BUTTER, SPLENDA, VANILLA EXTRACT and UNSWEETENED COCOA POWDER in a large mixing bowl. Using a hand mixer, mix until fluffy.
- Spread evenly over the baked Brownies and cut into 12 pieces.
