Ingredients
- 2 lb. LEAN GROUND BEEF
- 1 EGG, lightly beaten
- ½ cup diced ONION
- ½ cup diced BREADCRUMBS
- 1 cup BARBECUE SAUCE ,divided
- 2 tbsp. WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE
- 1 tsp. KOSHER SALT
- 1 tsp. BLACK PEPPER
- 1 lb thick UNCOOKED BACON
- MACARONI & CHEESE , make your own or use Create Simple Meals Creamy Mac & Cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350˚F.
- Line a loaf pan with strips of BACON, make sure to leave enough hanging over the side to wrap over the top
- In a large bowl, mix GROUND BEEF, BREADCRUMBS, ONION, EGG, ½-CUP BARBECUE SAUCE, WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE, SALT, and PEPPER. Mix until well combined, but do not overmix or the meatloaf will be tough.
- Spread half of the BEEF MIXTURE into the loaf pan and top with MACARONI AND CHEESE, top with the remaining BEEF MIXTURE and fold the BACON STRIPS over the top.
- Spread the remaining BARBECUE SAUCE over the top.
- Bake for 50 minutes, or until the internal temperature registers 165˚F. Let the meatloaf stand for 5 to 10 minutes before cutting.
