"Make the Griddle Sizzle!
The Ingredients & Instructions:
Ingredients
- 4 cups cooled COOKED RICE
- 1 tbsp. SESAME OIL
- 2 tbsp. VEGETABLE OIL
- 3 tbsp. SOY SAUCE
- 1 tsp. SALT
- 1 tsp. PEPPER
- 1 cup FROZEN PEAS AND DICED CARROTS BLEND
- 3 lightly beaten EGGS
- 1 lb. seasoned diced/sliced PROTEIN of choice, (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat one side of grill over medium low heat, approximately 350° F. and the other side set a little cooler.
- Add the VEGETABLE OIL onto the griddle and use your spatula to spread it around.
- If adding a PROTEIN, cook the PROTEIN and then move to the cooler side of the griddle
- Add in the PEAS AND CARROTS and sauté for 3-5 minutes or until the VEGETABLES are soft, and then move to the cooler side of the griddle with the cooked PROTEIN, if using.
- Add the COOKED RICE onto the griddle and top it with the SESAME OIL, SOY SAUCE, and SALT and sauté the RICE on the griddle for 3-4 minutes until heated through and slightly browned.
- Create a well in the middle of the RICE and add the EGGS.
- Continue cooking until just set and then mix in the VEGETABLE and PROTEIN with the RICE and EGGS
- Serve immediately while warm.
